About The Ram & Stallion Hotel:
The Ram and Stallion Hotel is a true country hotel located on a quiet street a short walk from the main street of town. It has backpacker and budget accommodation. It is also a stone's throw from the Caravan Park. There is a restaurant located in the building that operates on weekends. Counter meals are available.
Every few months, markets are held in the grounds and during the Irish Woolfest (with "The Running of the Sheep") it is home to the Quick Shear which has become an exciting event.

Quick Shear
Hello,
We attended the quick shear competition because my nephew Sam Todd enter the comp as a beginner shearer, we are all very proud of Sam for winning this section, his grandfather was a very good shearer, Sam was only 6 when he died, boy, Dad would have been proud of you Sam, Sam has been working with Mark Crowe, which will also be a big part of Sam's shearing life ....... very well done Sam
