About The Palace Hotel Motel:
There are some classic Broken Hill experiences you mustn't miss. Call in at Mario's Palace, the most imposing pub in town, for a drink or for a night's stay. Although it was built in 1888, stepping inside will take you straight back to the 1950s. The hotel was used for a number of scenes in the movie, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and the kitsch landscape murals above the grand staircase and in the bedrooms are now legendary.
