About Mulga Creek Hotel:

The new Mulga Creek Hotel was built in 1984 and offers all modern amenities with caravan and camping grounds. The Byrock area is abundant with wildlife and in a good season the Mulga Scrub is enlightened with bloom. The village still caters for the weary travellers and tourists that journey to and from the outback regions.

Take a stroll through the Mulga on the bush walk that leads to the Rock-Hole and pioneer cemetery and rest and refresh

MULGA CREEK "BARRACKS" Accommodation

3
9 years 1 month ago

Four of us over 50's boys do a western NSW pub accommodation tour every 6 months.
This trip we returned to Mulga Creek Barracks Accommodation out the back of the pub..
we stayed there 6 months before and recided to return.
The "Barracks" are a line of 5 single rooms joined together
It is $50.00 per person for a single bedded room with A/C,
no gause on the one window.
No seats or tables in the camp ground that can be moved.
This time there was no electricity in either the ladies or men's emenities.
In the pitch dark of night there is no light in the camping area to guide you back the 300 meters from the pub.
The $200.00 we put in for that one day could have corrected these problems.
There are frogs living in the hand basin pipes and very little hot water.
We paid for the accommodation at the pub, which is quiet nice and serves a great meal.
So, .... I assume they own and are responsible for the state of the outside accommodation.
Some beer pouring training, would be a good thing for the staff.
The pub also has 2 motel type rooms, which would be much preferable, if your friend dosnt snore.
Twin, double and showers.
The "Barracks" NO...DONT FO IT,
