Milestone bistro - can do better
Pasta/prawns gluggy chalky and o'priced at $20.
Chicken Caesar underwhelming.
All day breakfast bog standard.
Food not up to standards of peer bistros in town let alone numerous restaurants at the same price points..

The food when I went there was bad and good, mainly bad.
Beer battered chips were awesome, barramundi was good.
Teriyaki pork belly was not pork belly. It was tough and coated in a rubbery sauce. The spinach and fetta fritata seemed to have been pre-cooked many days ago.
The garlic bread for starters seemed to be the bake-at-home type from Coles across the road.

i like the milestone because its got a great atmoshere and one of the managers there (paul) will provide a buttler service if you ask for him!

I am a local and love the
I am a local and love the Milestone. I can walk there from my house. I can take my Sydney friends there and show them how cool it is but mostly I like it because I can get a modern Aust meal (not pub food) from 11 am till 11 pm. You can always find a quite corner - or even your own room with a comfy couch. The pub attracts a nice style of person (usually) and it is centrally located so it good for pre dinners or after show drink.
