The Excelsior Hotel is a beautiful boutique art-deco hotel with a lot of charm and history. Built in 1913 the ornate high ceilings and polished wooden floors speak of warmth, comfort and elegance. The recently refurbished hotel has never looked better, honouring its original essence with a humble modern twist to make the ambience the right combination for a special night out. We have FREE live music Wed-Sun in keeping with the Excelsior tradition of great music, having had legends like Jimmy Barnes, The Angels, Hoodoo Gurus and many more play for our patrons through the years!
