If boating, fishing and camping is your style, then Baffle Creek is the best place in Queensland to do it.
The Baffle Creek area is filled with National Parks with a great diversity of wildlife species. It is situated 1 hour North of Bundaberg, and 1 hour south of Agnes Water/1770.
Our climate changes very little throughout the year, ranging from warm and sunny winters with not many rainy days. In Summer the temperature hovers around 32 degrees celsius with scattered cooling rains. With approximately 280 days a year of sunny days, your fishing trip will become the perfect getaway, any time.
And if fishing is what you are here for, then there is plenty of that! Besides the Prawns and Crabs, there are a huge variety of fish on offer. Ranging from Barra to Bream, from Whiting to Flathead, from Mangrove Jack to Grunter, and many more where they came from!
The Tavern is undergoing renovations since the Christmas 2010 Flood, so we will keep you updated on when those will be all done...... But in the meantime, we have opened up a Take-Away next door to the bottleshop, to keep you fed for those days and nights you don't want to cook!
