Croydon is a historic gold mining town situated in the heart of the Gulf Savannah. In 1885 gold was discovered and by 1887 Croydon’s population had exploded to
7000. The Club Hotel was built in 1887 and Maurice O'Brian was its original owner / operator. The Club Hotel is the last remaining liquor license of the original 122 issued during the gold mining era.

I am travelling from Karumba to Cairns.
Is accomodation available at the Club Hotel?
If so can you please let me know, I am looking for
some where to stay on my way to Cairns.
