About Club Hotel:
Mungallala, said to mean "food and water", site of a cypress sawmill, is about half way between Mitchell and Morven where the Warrego Highway crosses the Mungallala Creek.
The Club Hotel is the meeting place for the townspeople most evenings. Outside, it is a typical old Australian building with wide verandahs. Inside, it is decorated with memorabilia collected from the area. It is an oasis with swimming pool and caravan facilities. Bed and breakfast at the Club Hotel is a very satisfying experience according to all who have sampled it.
