The Woombye Pub has been around since 1871 and has been through many changes throughout the years. With new management dedicated to building Woombye Pubs’ entertainment and restaurant the venue is now a destination Pub appealing to all demographics.
Woombye Pub now hosts UNI Night on Thursday evenings for University of the Sunshine Coast and all other 18-25 year olds. The Woombye offers a unique range of entertainment from live music, bands to international guest DJ’s.

Three talented musicians all on a separate journey collided in 2010 & formed ClevelandBlues & the Red Eye Junction. Playing his steel body resonator guitar and three string cigar box, Cleveland creates a unique style of dirty rockin anthem blues, complimented with the raspy vocals of an old Mississippi blues man. The beautifully talented Bam Bam Norden smashes out the backbone to the bands heartbeat on drums, like no man can. Dean Martin gives his every last breath for the cause on harp. The trio has joined together to develop a fusion of sound that feeds the addiction.

Woombye Pub was a great place to go with some mates to watch play some pokies and watch some footie. I must admit, I have never been to a university night as I am quite a bit older, but I have heard good things about it. It is a nice looking pub too, as it says in the information section, it is extremely old as well. Kepp up the good work and I highly recomend it.
