About The Redesdale:

Situated only an hour and a half from the Melbourne CBD, The Redesdale offers visitors an authentic and surprising country pub experience.

Peter Williams and I bought the Redesdale Tavern mid October 2008.The pub has a minor name change to "The Redesdale". It has undergone a major transformation, which includes the renovation and refurbishment of the site to include outdoor dining, wine and coffee bar, accommodation, cellar door for Redesdale Estate wines and evan a Petanque Piste.
Complimenting inspired local produce from the menu of Chef Daniel Wheelan, the wine list offers excellent value and fine local winemaking skill.

The Redesdale Camp Oven Cook Off will be held again, as usual, on the first Saturday in September in the grounds landscaped by Phillip Stray, using the giant local rocks from the property.

Generally when you go out for dinner you want to be served a substantial meal at a reasonable price. Well, if thats the case dont go to Redesdale! Another thing when you go to a pub..you generally expect a decent hearty pub meal so again, dont go to Redesdale! However if you want something the size of a pea on your plate with no extraordinary flavour and you want to order your sides because they dont come with the meal (they are also undercooked vegetables with no seasoning) and if you want to pay through your nose then go to Redesdale!!

Can not stop laughing at the above comment.
The above genius summed the Redesdale pub up perfectly.
They are trying to target the Toorack market with small meals and lots of wine...

It's a country pub all the locals care about is a decent parma and a pot. We like a large country meal not a meal that leaves you feeling inadequate and needing to go home for a feed..

Small portions don't work... Not everyone is a size 2 and can live off a celery stick daily . And having to buy the sides is pathetic, sides should come with a meal!!!

No wondor why its up for lease no locals support dickheads and there small meals and over the top prices!!!
