The John Forrest Wildflower Tavern is a great place for lunch. There are many "tame" native birds and kangaroos there and those alone are worth the visit. We were advised it's best to eat indoors else a kookaburra is likely to swoop in and fly off with your lunch!

John Forest Wildflower Tavern
Although Robert Juniper's presence will be sorely missed, there are still many attractions left. The wildlife, the relaxed friendly atmosphere, and the very superior fish and chips spring to mind.
Lucky the rumours about its closing were entirely untrue.

great pub where the staff are really friendly and helpful and you can have a beer,chat and watch the roos.
