Returning to where it was...
When the current owners took over the Corny they transformed it into a fantastic place to go for a drink and an awesome meal. The Corny e=was even a finalist in "The Best Steak Sandwich" competition a couple of years ago. Unfortunately it is now spiralling down to the low standards where it was before.
If Kerry is cooking you can get a half decent meal, but the help have no clue on how to cook. There is no pride in the rubbish put in front of you. We had lunch in "Kezza's Bistro" today. Two seafood baskets took 45 minutes to cook, the batter was inedible and we couldn't bring ourselves to eat the salad. the coleslaw tastes like it is a week old and the rest of the salad was wilted. The meal was served by a waitress who reeked of cigarette smoke, with no acknowledgement of the amount of time we had to wait.
Kerry, please go back to the fantastic meals you used to cook, and get some staff who give a damn.

This pub is the best pub I have ever been to! Great publicans who know how to put on a good time and treat their guests like family. Can not say a bad word about this pub! Had some good times here! Can not reccomend it enough!
