About Red Lion Tavern Hotel:

The Red Lion Tavern is situated approximately 22 km south of Glen Innes on the New England Highway.

Why not enjoy home-style meals and accommodation in a unique Celtic atmosphere?

Open fires in the winter (most of the year!) add to the charm and ambience of the dining room and bar, especially if it’s snowing outside!

Our accommodation comprises three country style rooms, all with ensuites and double beds; two of the rooms have an additional single bed.

Our restaurant is very popular with the locals and offers excellent quality meals at a reasonable price. Christmas in July (last 2 Saturdays) is one of our specialties for which bookings are essential.

We look forward to receiving your booking enquiry

Beautiful home cooked meal, the only fault I could find; that it tasted so good I ate to much. Be sure to try the famous red lion burger and beer battered fries.
