The Star Bar Café and Hotel is a modern boutique restaurant/hotel, located in Launceston, Northern Tasmania. We are the proud winner of the Small Business Champion Awards - Tasmania 2007 and 2008.

Upstairs, enjoy a stay in one of our modern non-smoking ensuite rooms. A variety of rooms ranging from single, twin, double and queen are available. All rooms are fully serviced and an in room breakfast is also available (charges apply). We are conveniently located within the central business district, where day trip and excursion pick up points are only a short walk away.

Guests receive a 10 percent discount voucher to use at the Star Bar Café's Restaurant during their stay with us.

Enter through our heritage listed façade and be welcomed into a modern dining experience. We offer a Mediterranean-styled menu, wood fired pizzas and a selection of Tasmanian best beers and wines are on tap. For the adventurous, why not try one of the Star Bar's cocktails. During the day the café atmosphere enables you to enjoy a freshly ground coffee or alternative beverage and a bite to eat with friends. In the winter months an open fireplace and natural gas heater creates a cosy atmosphere on those chilly Tasmanian days.
