The Imperial Hotel Avenel is home to the Hop Back Brewery.
Unfortunately we do not have any accommodation here at the Hotel. There is an area to camp at the rear of the Hotel and there is a toilet, no shower.

Country Hospitality - Cold beer and fresh cooked to Order Pub Food
The Avenel Pub is a small country pub with decor reminiscent of the 70's.
What keeps people coming back is the great atmosphere and for me the, food served here.
The food is fresh. The parma night on Wednesday will see Stacey in the kitchen working with chicken fillets to turn them into parma's for the nights service. Hand tenderising and crumbing, not a mechanical device here to do the work.
The owner Dave has his own brew on tap and it is fast becoming a favorite with the regulars.
Thursday night is the local's Whiskey Club, not sure on the exact details, but anything you need to know about farming and other matters can be discussed here on a Thursday from 5.00 pm.
