About GoldMines Courtyard, Bar & Bistro:

THE GOLD MINES HOTEL
The Gold Mines Hotel was built in 1872 and represents the height of prosperity, thanks to the discovery of gold in Bendigo.

The hotel is positioned on an elevated 1.2 acre site in central Bendigo opposite the historic Victoria Hill Mine. This mine became a source of David Chaplin Sterry’s wealth and prosperity and he finished building the hotel in 1872. This elegant Victorian Hotel is only minutes from central business district of Bendigo

Hi Natalie,
Me and my partner are planning on having our engagement party on the 26th of november, we would really love to have it in your courtyard area and would just like to know price on hiring it for a few hours on the saturday afternoon (approx 80 guests, tab on bar of course) and also do you allow self catering?
Look forward to hearing from you

Dave

Hi Natalie
Just a general enquiry about a 21st party for my daughter on 19th November. What facilities do you offer for about 60 or 70 guests re finger food, music, etc.
Thanks for your help

Hi Natalie,

I am interested in having my twenty first at the hotel. Just wondering how I am able to get in contact with you or someone to discuss this with?

I have emailed the above address with no reply?

Thank you for your time.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am making inquiries regarding booking a table for approximately 15 people for Saturday 27th November for a 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration.

As the Guests of Honour are a little hard of hearing we were wondering if you had a separate room / area where we could have the function and whether there would be any additional charge involved.

Please also advise whether there would be an option to have a separate menu, ie everyone has roast chicken, or roast of the day, or fish or whether we would all just order from the main menu.

If it is easier to call me to discuss I can be contacted on 0438 803 633.

Thank you for your assistance

Regards

Kerri

Good Afternoon Kerri,

I just came across your enquiry and would like to introduce myself, my name is Natalie Walduck and I am the new manager of Goldmines Hotel. We purchased this hotel over the weekend (2nd October) and have a settlement date as the first week in December.

The hotel is currently closed and will be under refurbishment until settlement. I would however, be more then happy to discuss the option of the 60th Wedding Anniversary with you further and we do have a seperate dining area which would be perfect for your function, this room would be at no extra charge.

Unfortunately with settlement being 1st December we would have to look at Saturday 4th December which is the week after your requested date.

Please contact me on [email protected] for any further enquiries and I look forward to being of assistance to you.

Kind Regards,

Natalie Walduck
