"The Royal Hotel in Meandarra? Forget anything you ever knew or heard about the Royal Hotel. Since December 2010, the Pub has been in the very capable hands of "Mine Hosts" Doug and Greg Jamieson.
A couple of lifelong local lads, they decided when the Pub came on the market it was time to give it a go and get the town back together. So after just having spent four days of real country hospitality i found it a absolute pleasure to be, even for a short time, a part of the community and joined in the fun and good times at the Royal.
The pub offers a fine menu and a variety of excellent meals are on offer thorughout the week. Acommodation is available and inexpensive and groups are well catered for. Yes, even some undercover, secure parking for those beloved motorcycles.
Between drinks patrons can slip across the road to see the magnificent display in the "Meandarra Anzac Museum". Among the many items of military equipment and photos is a complete Canberra Bomber." - Gary Franklin.
