Canterbury hotel was built in the early 1940’s and is now a heritage listed building due to fact a lighthouse was originally located on the top of the building to assist ships proceeding to the now demolished sugar works.
Recently renovated, the original exterior or the building hides a very modern interior that features excellent bar and TAB facilities. We have a great food selection at the bistro that serves hot and cold meals to take the hunger away.
All this is run by courteous, helpful staff coupled with a friendly clientele base, which hand in hand have allowed great relationship between all. Located within easy reach of public transport Canterbury Hotel is the destination for both locals and visitors alike.
