This was built in 1861 as the single storey Globe Inn (later known as the Globe Hotel when the second storey was added) with Mr W. Square as the first licensee. The name was changed to the Weeroona Hotel in 1959.

Amazing meals
My friends and i were in Wallaroo for the June long weekend 2013 and couldn't decide where to eat, as everywhere was really busy.
We went to the Weeroona and it was AMAZING. The meals were huge, so tasty and really reasonably priced. As someone who goes to Wallaroo frequently, i cant believe i hadnt been there for a meal before. I have raved about it to everyone.
pub meals and service
We had dinner last night at the Weeroona hotel and found the food to be good value for money. The fish was fresh and the service was good. The only negatives were it took a long time to be served and get our food due to the fact they were packed out. They do cater for children but there is no kids menu. You need to order the same meal and depending on the childs age it may change the price. I suggest a basic kids menu should be made to avoid confusion.
