The Warradale Hotel was first opened in 1963 in response to the social and demographic changes that had taken place within the area - from humble farms, vineyards and almond groves, to the thriving community you see today
Dunrobin Road lies just to the south west of this hotel. In 1862 The Adelaide Observer contained a notice which stated "Dunrobin... is of splendid situation near the sea, and a complete view of the Hills, stamps it at once as one of the most delightful places for Township in the colony."
Warradale is one of metropolitan Adelaide's south western suburbs and the area is home to Adelaide's largest regional shopping centre, Marion. Glenelg and Brighton beaches are also just a short drive away. This also makes the Warradale Hotel a very convenient location to stay if you are visiting Adelaide and planning on a spot of shopping.
In 2007 The Warradale underwent a significant facelift. A major upgrade of gaming and bar facilities has taken place, making it the envy of other hotels in the area and around Adelaide.
The addition of a trendy new bar, the 'Verandah Bar', is proving to be a popular destination for people of all demographics. Whether it is for a relaxed meal or to catch up with friends, the Verandah Bar provides a great night with weekly live acoustic sessions.
Whilst these advancements are changing the face of this much-loved local, The Warradale still embodies all the character and charm you expect from your local.
