The Wellington Hotel was licensed in 1848 and is one of the oldest working hotels in South Australia. The hotel is located directly on the banks of the River Murray with a licensed lawn area, front bar, dining room and new decking area.
All with panoramic views overlooking the river. Directly in front of the hotel is also South Australia's oldest and widest river crossings with a ferry which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Accommodation is available at the hotel with three self contained riverfront cabins which can sleep up to 6 people. Private moorings are located directly in front with a private lawn area leading to the water. Budget accommodation is available.
Other accommodation available is the Wellington Caravan Park just opposite the hotel and the Wellington Courthouse which has been transformed into a Bed and Breakfast and National Trust Museum.
