The Mt View Hotel Richmond is located on Bridge Road Richmond near the intersection of Punt Road, just a minute walk from the MCG and Melbourne CBD.

The Mt View hotel is spread over 4 floors and offers a range of different areas perfect for your next dinner and drinks, function, special occasion or simply a quick beer on the way to the MCG. Boasting a new rooftop beer garden with 360 degree Melbourne city views and a large selection of beers on tap and an extensive wine list and delicious menu, the Mt View hotel has something for everyone.

The roof top deck bar or one of several lounge areas would be perfect for your next function or to simply sit back and watch the world go by. The lounge area is fully furnished with funky modern furniture, large screen plasma TV’s to watch all major sporting events, 2 pool tables and arcade machines.

Bistro: Our bistro menu boasts a range of meals to suit all tastes at reasonable pub prices. Meals are served daily from midday and lunch specials are available Mon – Fri. If you're in a rush we even have a takeaway menu available.

We take pride in offering delicious pub meals of the highest standard in a relaxed hotel atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The Mt View Hotel Bistro is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and all day on Saturday and Sundays. Make sure you try one of our famous giant homemade pies, you won’t be disappointed!

Sports Bar:
Come and enjoy one or more of our premium beers on tap or choose a glass or bottle of wine from our extensive wine list. Relax at the hotel bar or get cozy in our couch lounge area and kick back and watch the sport on one our large plasma screens. Or simply have a game of pool with friends or enjoy the sun on the roof top beer garden.

We have two main bars. Downstairs is our main bar open every day from 11am. On the second level, the bar is open during special events and weekends. However you're feeling, you'll feel right at home with us at either of Mt View Hotel's bars.

Make the Mountain View the place for your next big event. We cater for your every need to detail, specializing in birthdays, engagements, corporate gatherings and special formal events. Our staff and unique venue will make sure your next event is both a successful and memorable one.

There are 2 main function spaces available the Mezzanine and the Rooftop deck bar. Also the Mountain View has an in-house background music system which plays current hits along with rock n roll and R n B classics. This system has mp3 player adaptability if you wish to bring along your own favourite mix for your special event.

Rooftop Deck Bar:
This will impress. The Roof Top Deck Bar has close to 360° views of the Melbourne CBD, Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Richmond Hill skyline. On a clear day you can see out to the Dandenong ranges.

The Mt View Hotel's new beer garden, 'A Bar Above' is now more than three times its original size, with a layout that embraces both quiet seclusion in the sunshine, and Melbourne's popular communal table experience. It stands out as the single best function area in Richmond, catering for large groups in an environment that is sure to impress.
