Plough Inn Port

I called in to your hotel earlier this year to buy the good old Plough Inn port and was disappointed it was not sold anymore.I worked in the hotel around 18 years ago and the plough inn port was a real seller at the hotel.Living in WA now I thought I would bring a bottle home what a shame maybe you could re introduce this for your locals and tourist Australia.Just a thought.

cheapskates

Top price for accommodation, yet in your room they give you “paddle pop” sticks to stir your coffee (teaspoons at Vinnies are 5 cents each) … toilet paper, the same as in the public toilets in the park …
.
And even in the bistro, the serviettes are in those chrome dispensers that are on the top of the counter in cheap take-aways
.
The owners want top dollar for every thing … yet only want to provide cheapskate add-ons
.
But the local staff are very friendly and professional, (yet I reckon are only being paid cheapskate wages)
.
Never again

I like travelling through the little town of Bulahdelah and enjoy a chat at the Plough Inn Hotel with the friendly locals and staff.
I must say i left feeling very disappoint lastnight. The publican and his wife were drinking, and the wife decided she was going to have a go at a older lady with a walking stick whom i think is a "local"
I witnessed the publicans wife calling this lady a "retard" followed with alot of swearing and more abuse. The lady started crying and was quite upset by the smart remarks and name calling. I am disgusted to say the publican watched the whole event and did nothing. I wont be back, and i will be telling everyone what i witnessed at your "so called friendly little pub" Shame on you Plough Inn!!

We stopped for the night and were very happy with doing so. It was a very pleasant experience with friendly staff and locals. The bed was comfortable and great value.

I'm sorry to have posted this at this location - however, I tried to contact your email address privately, but could not do so.

I freuqently travel through your town on my way to business functions. This includes all days of the week. Whenever I pass, I have been in the habit of calling in for a meal.

Today, my partner and I called in for lunch at about 12:50 pm. We ordered, and were not served until almost 2:00 pm.

Whilst I appreicate that you may be busier from time to time, surely we ought to have been extended the courtesy of being told that we would have an hour's wait before being served? When the meals eventaully arriveded - no mention of the dealy or an apology.

I found the vegetables to well below standard.

With the by-pass almost completed - you'd better do better.
