The Royal Hotel is a hearty Australian Pub with a history dating back to 1858. Located on the corner of Sharp & Lambie St and forming part of the historic Lambie St walk, the Royal Hotel is set in an ideal location to explore the wonders of Cooma.
The local landmark, built in 1858 is the oldest hotel in the Snowy Mountains region and was heritage listed in 1988. It is the only pub in Cooma which still has the verandah wrapping around the entire frontage of the building.
The Hotel consists of the public bar, lounge bar and dining area, a games room and budget accommodation. Its all here!
The Royal Bistro serves throughout the hotel including the front verandah, outdoor area, dining room, lounge room and the public bar. We have a great chef who specialises in a wide range of dishes including classic ‘Pub Meals’ with a modern twist and even modern dishes with a traditional twist.
