Biker Friendly Pub
There were 8 of us on bikes wet and hungry, riding from Victoria, we wanted to get to Cowra
as we found out that due to rising floodwaters, we would not get to Cowra next day.
We rang Tania, who runs the bar and accomodation, and she welcomed us and took our meal orders over the phone as it was getting late.
When we arrived Tania opened up gates to the end of the beer garden so our bikes were covered and secure behind a locked gate.
Tania served all of us well earned drinks and then her husband served our dinner after Tania herded us into the dining room. What a meal I had a T-bone that covered a large plate with nice crisp fresh salad and great chips. Turns out the local butcher who supplies the meat was there having a drink or 6, and I know him.
Tania got us all organised into rooms with quite good beds, rooms and bathroom were tidy and the price about $50.00 each including that awesome meal.
We had a great time with the locals until stumps, and went to get breakfast 200m up the road that Tania recommended before heading out next morning.
