The Centrepoint acquired the Civic Hotel in 2001 and brought it back to life. The front bar remains a workmans waterhole where many a good laugh can be heard.

The back bar now features a stylish cocktail and lounge bar where ladies and local business men & women can be found having a drink after work and pre-dinner drinks. Adjoining Gossips Café this bar is becoming increasingly popular.

A small bottle shop also operates for the convenience of all Civic Hotel patrons.

Charge back facilities exist for all Centrepoint in house guests only.
