About Mount St Terrace Hotel:

Known as The Terrace to our regulars, this cheeky, funky, bar-style pub hotel is located in the heart of North Sydney CBD on Mount St between Walker St & the Pacific Highway and is ideal for all occasions.

Open Monday through Friday we are popular with the office set for quick, great value bistro style lunches, relaxing catch ups in the afternoon and after-work drinks and top value dinners.

The Terrace is a fantastic Saturday night function venue for birthdays, engagements and even wedding receptions. You get the entire venue to yourselves and our platter menus offer sensational value. All the details are on the Functions web page.

When it comes to sporting events like Melbourne Cup, Super 14, Rugby Tests and Cricket and our enthusiasm will match even the most dire hard sporting venues with three large screens for great viewing.

Absolutely disgraceful - Drinks were ridiculously priced, but more importantly, the 'security guards' were a joke. After about 3 hours of being there, paying insane amounts for a couple of drinks, the police turn up (pretty standard) and some bouncer decides to kick my friend and I out for 'having too much to drink'.

It really was just so frustrating after buying drinks, we just begin to enjoy ourselves (to the credit of the DJ - the atmosphere was great), and some 'bouncer' decides to treat us like we are 14, making sweeping statements about how much we have had to drink and how old we are, then proceeding to escort us out ...

I have absolutely no problem with a club/ pub checking things out - that is completely acceptable and actually to the credit of the institution, but when it comes to blatantly accusing innocent customers of doing something they are clearly not associated with, WITHOUT any evidence whatsoever, it's just unprofessional, rude and disappointing.

I will have no hesitation in informing all my friends of my bad experience and definitely will not be returning to "The Terrace" any time soon.
