Pretty Pine Hotel is a major landmark in the Riverina, offering old fashioned comfort and service and more importantly a meeting place for people of the district.
Set on 5 acres Pretty Pine Hotel is 15kms from Deniliquin on the Historical Cobb Highway. The Pretty Pine Hotel was established circa 1875 raised to the ground in 1916 and rebuilt later that year. It boasts the original pressed tin ceilings and locally made bricks.
It is the gateway to the outback and desert and by all accounts the flattest planes on earth.
The hotel is on the Long Paddock route and was the last Cobb & Co changing station.
The Long Paddock Route follows The Cobb Highway from Echuca Moama on the Victorian border, through to Wilcannia and then leads to the outback towns of Bourke, Broken Hill and White Cliffs or hang a left and head to Adelaide via Moulamein.

Wonderful suprise
Read about this place from the outback magazine. As i'm a fan of different country hotels decided to go for a day with my family. We ended up staying for 3 nights because it was just so lovely there.
Excellent chef they have. Food was unreal and the Pork Belly- probably the best i've ever had.
And the care and attention of all staff that we met in the hotel. Just wonderful!
We will deffenitly go back! :)
