The Verge
This magnificent space, once a chapel, a library and a theatre, is now the main bar of The ArtHouse Hotel. Majestic 19th century plasterwork, stenciling and skylights form the backdrop to this elegant and innovative bar.
This room is versatile in its ability to display, produce and exhibit a myriad of artistic themes. The aim is to reawaken the performance spirit of the former theatre.
The Gallery
A very softly lit room, it allows one to muse, indulge and delight as it elucidates a sense of the past, and stimulates a quizzical delight in the artistic and inviting present.
This room features two permanent art installations, a mural “Fairies” by local artist Guy Hawson and “ArtHouses” by local artist Shona Wilson.
The Attic
Surround yourself in our newly renovated Attic Bar, perfect for small group reservations, exclusive functions, conferencing, or just a quiet drink with friends. Still serving the best cocktails Sydney has to offer with a wide variety of spirits and liqueurs, as well as a great selection of beers and wines. It will quickly become the lounge bar Sydney had to have.
