A grand old lady constructed in the heyday of the Gympie gold rush of the 1870's now situated at Boreen Point on the serene shores of Lake Cootharaba just north of Noosa Heads. With open fireplaces and wide cool verandahs, the Apollonian provides hearty hospitality seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The counter meal and a-la-carte menu provides a great variety of traditional country foods which extends to dishes such as kangaroo fillet, marinated emu, rabbit pie and crocodile.
Sunday lunch is a wood fired spit roast with live entertainment.
Guest accommodation is in a separate restored historic building providing 10 double rooms with communal day room and bathroom facilities.

Weddings at the Apollonian.
It's Boreen Point Celebrant Michele Collins sipping wine at the Apollonian Hotel on the weekend. What a perfect location for a wedding. Sweeping lawns perfect for lawn games and large shady trees to have your ceremony under. The historic buildings' tranquil, relaxed verandas or the more formal ballroom will cater for all wedding styles. The grounds have plenty of photo opportunities and limited accommodation away from the pub but still onsite. A true gem.

Dear sir/ madam
Looking for a price and availability for a party towards the second half of 2012.
I don't have an exact date planed yet,
Could you cater for an afternoon, full bar then evening dinner for forty.
Don't mind if it's under a marque outside or if you have a room.
Could you give me an idea about meal options (roast on a spit, set menu)
We can do weekdays if this is of any help.
Many thanks
