Country Pub

I have been to this pub on a few occasions and I have to say that it depends who is running the pub at the time, I have been when there was a older lady running the bar she was rude and arrogant to the customers and other staff, there has been another time when a young skinny lady was running the pub she was great and the service as well fun and friendly the food at this time was great as well but when I went there the other day it was a terrible atmosphere unorganized and unexperienced staff I will be back as I travel up that way to see my husband hopefully the young lady is on.
There is lots of great things to have a look at on the wall it was like a mini museum in the pub so much history which suits the pub..

The rooms are basic, with no en suites, and the security of the rooms is minimal. However, the air conditioning was very efficient. Necessary, as the max temp that day was 40 centigrade. We were there on a Sunday, which seemed to be party time. The people in the bar were very friendly, generous and interesting. We even met a guy who used to box in the travelling tent with Fred Brophy. This place is not to be missed and gives a fantastic feel of inner Australia and it's very independant people. It was a privilege to meet them all.
