poor service

don't expect any service if you are there after 8.30pm. In fact the 2 staff members looked the other way as I was at the bar and went about doing other things. No better than Helensvale Bowls Club.

Bad service
I have been to many pubs and I work in hospitality, I couldn't t believe how bad the service was. I was there with a few friends and the food was fantastic but when the service is that bad we will not be back again and we will be telling our friends.
live music
I also think you would increase you patronage if you had live music (just a good little jazz trio) would encourage . A surf club further south started having a jazz band mid-week & it is still going 4.5 yrs later & it is their best night crowd & profit wise of the week!!
Helensvale Tavern
Helensvale Tavern... Saturday nights, an empty big space, begging for a decent band.
Helensvale and surrounding residents are starved of GOOD LIVE music, unless you can stand going to the Club it's the only place you can hear live music regularly... but I did stress GOOD LIVE music.
How many couples and middle aged singles sit at home with nothing to do on Friday and Saturday nights, its a $60 cab ride (one way) to the Casino, we all stay home because theres nothing to do.
A good live band, they would pack the joint out. The locals could afford to get cabs home, or walk or get someone to come and pick them up. Empty rooms make no money.
If only management there would understand, you have to spend money to make money..
