Ferry Road Tavern, or more commonly known as The Marble Bar is in the perfect and handy location of the Southport CBD.
Nestled just behind Chevron Island means you are just a stones throw from the heart of Surfers Paradise.
The Tavern has 3 main areas. The Marble Bar with Lounge Bar and Bistro, The Gaming Room and also the Turf Bar which is our sports bar.
In addition to these, we also have a private function room available.
We cater for all desires from light lunch, after work drinks and cosy dinners to a punt on the Pokies/TAB and all kinds of functions.

Beating at the Marbel Bar
Can anyone supply me with info - links or a clipping, on a near fatal beating that happened in the car park at The Marble Bar in 2004ish when a gang of graduation TSS students rampaged the area, climaxing in their beating a woman and a man who was beaten to death in the carpark but was revived at the hospital and remained in a coma...???

Very poor attitude in staff !!!
this pub has been a good well worked pub for the last few years . but over the last year or so a change in staff , with a change of manager every few months as turned this pub mostley the marbe which is the sports bar out the back into one of the worst pubs on the gold coast !!!
Bar staff are rude , lazy and treat there locals like shit !!!
A change behind the bar is a long time over due with a lot of locals starting to choose to drink at other pubs like the ashmore or anywhere else as a result of bar rude attitude from staff
go there and see it for youself and im sure you will neva go back again it aint worth the time of day !!!
