About Red Brick Hotel:

The Heritage Listed Pub is located in Woolloongabba and has been a landmark on Annerley road for over 100 years. When the hotel was built in 1890, it was known as Burkes, after builder Thomas Burke. However, from the 1930's to 1970's the hotel was known as the Red Brick, not due to the colour of the brick of the hotel as one would think, but rather the red 10 pound notes (or bricks) that were used by the bookies when settling bets in the public bar.

Now days, the hotel boasts a bistro, mezzanine dining area (great for private functionsl), sports bar, gaming room and drive thru bottle shop. It has recently been refurbished, has had a menu makeover, increased the craft beer range, revamped the functions rooms and will soon offer live music, InnQuizzative-trivia and APL poker.

The bistro has modern facilities which are presented in such a way that the heritage style and charm don't clash with the modern day beauty of the hotel, giving a cosy, friendly old county pub feel. The food is excellent, the prices are extraordinary cheap and the staff are warm and friendly. What more could you ask for?

RedBrick Hotel Bistro is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, from 10am till Late

Wednesday Night at 6pm is 888PL Free entry poker Night at the Red Brick
Thursday Night at 6pmpm is Trivia Night at the Red Brick

Went out to the Red Brick last Saturday night and enjoyed a few drink with friends. Nice for a lounge with friends, music was just right. Gave it a good feel.
