I held my 30th in the
I held my 30th in the function room of The Glades Tavern a few weeks ago.
When i first inquired about the room i was amazed at how much the room hire cost considering the extras that were included. The cost of the room was half the cost of any quotes i had gotten from pubs and hotels around the area. They coordinated with me on a regualr basis so they could set the room up to how i wanted it.
On the night the room was set up way better than i had expected. All the staff were really friendly on the night and went out of their way to create a perfect atmosphere for myself and all my quests.
Overall the night was one of the best nights of my life. They provided enough technology for me to do slide shows and play music that we had requested and do speeches.
I would like to thank all the staff for a wonderful evening and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone wanting to hold a party or wedding or whatever it may be to hold it at The Glades Tavern.

I would like to comend the Managers and staff at the Glades Tavern for
a wonderful experience that myself and my family had a the Glades Last week, the meals were fantastic and the service from the staff in the Bistro was excellent. We had a large party with some of the guest having special
menu requirments, which was no problem , and all my family left very happy.

Dinner Saturday Night September4th 2010
Dear Manager.
My wife and I went to your hotel on Saturday night for dinner.
We ordered Baked fish and Lamb shanks.
We then waited for 30 minutes and our meals had not arrived.
I went to the counter to see how long they were going to be and also asked if the table that had been assigned to us could be wiped down as it had not been cleaned from the previous guests.
They told me that our meals would be at our table in 10 minutes making it a 40 minute wait.
Our meals arrived at our table just over an hour after we had ordered.
I should have taken my wife's advice and asked for our money back.
They were less than ordinary for the time waited.
I told the waiter that it simply was not good enough.
His excuse was that there were several parties happening but I assure you that there were plenty of empty tables which in total would have seated over thirty people so the place was no where near full or what you would call all that busy.
As you can imagine I was very annoyed and that we would never come back to the hotel again. He told me that we were not welcome back.
I was always told that the customer was right and that if a customer complained you had better listen.
So whatever your staff tell you after you have read this I can assure you that it will be an attempt to cover their own backsides for their total lack of competence.
