Spalding is a friendly town, 178 km north of Adelaide. It is uniquely situated at the centre of a network of creeks and rivers, which meet to form the Broughton River.
The town is in the midst of a district renowned for cropping, sheep and cattle production. Spalding provides excellent sporting facilities, shopping, a primary school, three churches and historic buildings.
