Park Tavern The friendly local pub
Garry Whitney is man behind the bar at the Park, ever since he took over in late 2018 he has made huge changes to both the inside as well as the outside of the pub. From 1973 to 1979 Garry had the honor of being a medium - fast right handed bowler for the Tasmanian Cricket Team. His respect for sport is shown in the mural on the bar wall featuring Tasmanian sporting Legends. this is a place you can go to and talk to real people who are no different from you. It is a local pub so dont expect any fancy high end cocktail drinks.
In the Tramms Family Bistro the menu is well priced, and tastes great. Again Garry has shown great respect for the area from the photo's on the walls showing the Trams driving along the streets and with history of the floods that devastated the suburb in the 1920;s.
