Im proud to announce.... we are doing it...... the
".Rokeby Tavern Restaurant/Hospitality Training Centre"
The great opportunity has been given to us, to lease the kitchen/restaurant/function centres and to support the patrons of Rokeby tavern with " home cooked" snacks and Bar Meals".
It is just not a restaurant, its a community restaurant. we aim to have meals not exceeding $15. private functions will be catered for,as will Theme functions, hey guys and ladies, who wants to have a "Tassie Woodstock", singles "meet'n'greet" nights.
Our sincerity and commitment to the locals who need to be supported, will be done through "Good ol' Fashioned" home cooked meals, delivered. $8, 2 courses for casual clients, however, we will do 3 courses for our elderly continuous clients, delivery is arranged and we will endeavour to use local taxi services where possible.
Our commitment to "our youth", is to provide a "local sausage sizzle" each morning at 9am. we through the kitchen operations, will be able to offer, practical training and home cooking support for those needing dietary help.
We will offer supported education services so that people can gain education via the AQTF, (Australian Qualification Framework) VET education (Vocational Education & Training). Hospitality/Business/Aged care training/First Aid.
Non accredited training in Youth Driving First Aid/Metal work/Small construction for community support.
Our training will be organised to be held in the Rokeby Tavern facility, so that transport is not an issue. fees will all be covered for training for unemployed under the VET fee Debt help/ Debt fee Free system where possible.
