We are a family pub with a country vibe, live music 6 nights of the week (Wednesday-Sunday) and an Irish session on a Tuesday as well
Built in 1888 as The Albert Hotel, it was one of the grand hotels built in Brunswick during the land boom of the 1880’s.
The early patrons were mostly workers from the Butler’s Brickyard up on Albion Street and the hotel continues to be the workers pub. Renamed The Lomond Hotel in the 1930’s, it has been run by The Neagle Family for over 30 years.
They’ve brought their country heart to a city pub and it remains one of Melbourne’s last family owned and operated hotels.
