Went though Charlton today and stopped with my family at the cricket club hotel, the staff where fantastic,the meals where excellent and really family friendly,we will be sure to stop past there again

Counter lunch
Went for a counter lunch today, what a disappointment. The cook didn't seem to want to be there. Got my order wrong, care factor nil! The meal it self reeked of cheap and nasty products. Won't be going back.
Food
Absolute disgrace, I went with my family expecting a good old country pub meal, however what we got was nothing but poorly cooked Parma's and seafood that looked days old, I spoke to a few people that night regarding the
meals and the same common answer"bad meals and service, but what can you do when there is only two pubs in town and the other is booked"
