Went to the tavern for a
Went to the tavern for a family dinner and night out, expected a high standard of food and quality service for the price you pay (very expensive). Instead we had to wait for half the night to be served by cheesy barmaids that could't speak english and were barely dressed. Tyring to eat dinner while seeing barmaids prance around with extremely short shorts that you could see the cheeks in front of the children was not exactly what i call a good night for the family. The beer tasted off and lets just say we wont be going back unless a dress code is brought back.... If i wanted to see skanks and have CHEAP hight I would have gone to the Mermaid hotel to see the skimpies!!!! VERY VERY POOR TASTE.

Great atmosphere n upholds the credentials of the old style pubs!
Food fantastic each time i went for the 2 nights i was there.
Great beer n great people that go there, its what a pub should be! Something for everyone.
Convenient market right next door as well, thumbs up :)
