About Royal Hotel Dunolly:
A fabulous 'must see' pub is the Royal Hotel in Dunolly Victoria. Built in 1856 during the goldrush it is still going strong today serving great food and drink. Great historical photos of previous owners line the walls as well as some interesting motorbike artifacts."
More gold nuggets were found in and around Dunolly than anywhere else in the world. A replica of the Welcome Stranger (worlds largest alluvial nugget) can be found at the Dunolly Museum, whilst a monument stands at the site of the 'big find' of the 1860's at Moliagul.

Awesome Country Pub with good food
When all you want is a nice cold beer and a good meal, nothing beats the Royal Hotel Dunolly. I have been to this establishment twice since the new management has taken over and both times that I have entered the Hotel, I have felt like I am an old friend. The meals are acceptionally good and the service impecable. I would recommend anyone to make their way up there and enjoy the experience!!
