Built in 1884, The Transcontinental Hotel is a heritage listed building and is a recognised part of Brisbane’s history. The Hotel has been an established part of the community for 128 years, and continues to be a corporate lunchtime favourite for surrounding businesses. You may have noticed some changes at The Transcontinental Hotel in recent weeks – a sleek coat of paint; a new restaurant and bar menu; and the acquisition of our Venue Manager Nathan Young, and Head Chef Aaron Middleton. We also welcomed our Sales and Events Manager, Kara Vassallo.
The aesthetic transformations, including the opening of our new restaurant The Back Room in July 2012, will provide comfortable, modern and lustrous surrounds, and the induction of new management enforces our commitment to being better at what we do, and exceeding your expectations.
