The Grand really is the grand hotel of Millicent. You can easily imagine, years ago, train travelers taking the short walk from the station through the Grand entrance to have a meal and a drink before taking up one of the spacious upstairs rooms. Later, they might relax on the spacious balcony and watch the world go by.
Whilst the world has changed the Grand still offers cold drinks and excellent meals. Dinner is on Tuesday to Saturday 6.00pm to 8.00pm, Schnitzel night on Wednesday and special meal deal for the kids for only $8 including ice cream and soft drink. Lunches are on Wednesday through Friday.
If you want a little flutter there is TAB and Keno in the front bar and a comfortable gaming lounge with 20 popular machines.
For convenience use the drive through for some takeaway, (even meals if you ring ahead!). You'll find a very large range of beers, premix and spirits plus a good selection of wines.
