One of the best Irish pubs I have visited

I noticed that Google had it that this pub was permanently closed, however that can't be the case because I had a beer there recently and it was certainly very open. Okay, it has now been turned into an Irish pub (under the PJ Ghallager's brand), but as a pub it was really nice inside (I'm not a big fan of Irish themed pubs, especially the branded ones). The meal prices were pretty decent, and there was one of those outdoor areas that really push the boundaries of what one would call a 'smoking area'. I did really like the feeling that one was inside a really old building, as well as the Irish pop blaring over the speakers.

Badly managed rude, arrogant and ill-mannered staff, no wonder hardly any one drinks there

Yeah, I thought I was the only one that copped the horrible staff with attitude

Yep - still same 4/1/12.

The signs say "free pool until 4", but the on-duty staff don't have tokens for free play, can't open the coin box, won't put any cash from the bar into the machine, and weren't at all interested in helping or even a free drink to compensate for the $18 we paid for our hour of 'free pool'.

Easy solution: there are another 2 pubs a block away.

(Found this site when I was googling to find an e-mail address to write and express my disappointment at the treatment).
