gday, going to be in darwin the first week of september and contemplating a trip over for the night. Is it necessary to pre-book a small unpowered site for a 2 man tent, no car? and how much is that worth per person for the night?

cheers, pete
ps the email on the website keeps rejecting messages i try to send!

Hi ya.

Me and my boys are heading to NT for a BIG ADVENTURE. We are hiring a campervan and doing Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield. Our problem is, that on our last day we fly out, back to Melbourne at stupid o'clock (1.30am) in the morning.

I need something to keep us busy and somehow awake! After doing lots of reading, I thought that catching a ferry across to Mandorah, having dinner, and then sitting on the jetty for a fish would be a fantastic way to finish our trip.

I need to know when the last ferry leaves for Darwin, so that I can arrange some sort of temporary accomodation where we can crash for a few hours before our crazy late night flight back home.

Thanks, and cheers,

Amanda Clancy
