I have had many lovely meals at the pub, but I have to say I was there on 1st May for lunch and the meal was not good at all.Very poor value for money. Food was overcooked and dry, cook ran out of fish pieces so substituted prawn cutlet, another meal of garlic prawns consisted of 4 prawns on a bed of about a tablespoon of rice. I saw other meals as well left on the table.
I felt you should know about this. As I said before, meals are usually good, so something was very wrong that day and this gives you the opportunity to rectify the problem before you lose customers.

I noticed Joan’s comment and thought I would drop you all a quick note, Chef Dan is back!!!
The food is back to its spectacular best...... restaurant quality food at local pub grub prices! The Cooee steak was cooked perfectly just the way I like it! My partner had a Chilli and Garlic seafood pasta and the smell and taste was amazing. I can’t wait to head back for yet another sensational meal!
