had one of the best counter meals in the district last night at Pekina. Sat by the fire and chatted with new people, what a lovely atmosphere. Thanks Dave

Pekina Hotel For Sale Remarkable Opportunity
The Pekina Pub is on the market and is the perfect business to buy if you are wanting to become part of an incredible rural community that know how to socialise and have fun. The centre of the community is the Pekina Pub which has locals and visitors calling in to catch up, share the weeks happenings and enjoy a delicious meal. The fantastic family atmosphere is hard to compare with any other, mums, dad, kids, grand parents and friends make themselves at home in the familiar surroundings of the hotel walls and decor.
The breathtaking mural on the wall of the dining room was painted back in the 70's and has become part of the decor of the hotel even though it has been cleverly painted as an outback optical illusion, has to be seen to be believed. Sporting life is enjoyed by all whether it be tennis, cricket, bowls, football or netball. Meeting back at the pub to relive the match, replay the winning shot is enjoyed by all, especially the footy tips competition. Local CFS members congregate after a fire at the pub to wet their whistles and talk over the days dilema. The Catholic Church and Camp is within walking distance that brings groups to the area and is fully functional and is a history story on it's own, fancy the Nuns once owning the Pekina Pub!!! yes it is true. The verandah is the perfect spot for tourists to stop and have a break and watch the world tick by. School bus goes straight past the door and Orroroo only 14km away is a thriving town with a street full of successful business's and a hospital on the hill that is staffed by some of the best nurses and doctors around.
So come and check out our Pekina and see for yourself if you would like to become part of our town we call home.
