The Mitta Pub (formerly the Laurel Hotel) is currently under the management of local couple Sal and Tom Simpson. You'll find Sal and Tom in the bar pouring a beer or in the kitchen whipping up a meal so make sure you stop by and say hi. The Mitta Pub provides a great destination for a day out all year round. Warm and cosy open fires, an extensive wine list and hearty meals keep the atmosphere inviting and provide a comforting stop in the winter time. Our beautiful new dining room overlooking Snowy Creek provides the perfect spot for enjoying a warm summer's evening with a few cold beers. Set in bush surrounds, backing on to Paddy's Reserve and the beautiful Snowy Creek, the Mitta Pub offers a relaxing meal and a drink to everyone visiting the Mitta Valley. Having recently undergone an extensive renovation, the pub now offers top-notch facilities while keeping much of its historic charm. Excellent country pub
We recently stopped for a meal at the Mitta Mitta pub and I have only high praise for the owners and staff that looked after our group of 13. We arrived just before lunch meals closed as we had already tried a nearby hotel that couldn't accommodate a group of our size. At the Mitta pub the staff were friendly and efficient and the meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
