The very best pub in the outback!
Lovely staff, everyone is super nice.
In this middle of nowhere, this place is an oasis!
I hope to come back sometime :)
Lack of Aussie Spirit
Called in yesterday afternoon and needed to make an urgent phone call only to be told you'll get phone service in Cloncurry? We had all ready tried the public phone which was not working. By the time we got to Cloncurry it was to late. So where's looking after you're mate when things are down?
My night at the WALKABOUT CREEK HOTEL.
This is a great outback pub with lots of history. Anyone who ever saw the movie CROCODILE DUNDEE will enjoy the experience of just being there.Just love it. Great hosts Frank & Debbie. Be there for Franks birthday in June (23rd about). Great night & great music. TRIBUTE TO 'JOHNNY CASH'.

Great meals & comfy
I recently spent two weeks at the Walkabout Creek Hotel. The whole place is spotless, the rooms comfortable and the meals are fantastic.
